We make the machines we put our own name on.

Speedway is the house brand of Supra Sewing Online, LLC— a US dealer that has been selling and servicing industrial sewing equipment for decades. Most of what Supra Sewing carries is somebody else's brand: Juki, Brother, Consew, Kansai Special, Pfaff, Singer Industrial. Speedway is the line we put our own name on.

That's a deliberate choice. We don't put our name on a machine unless we'd run it on our own production floor. We don't pretend to compete on every front against every brand. We focus on the work where we have something to say — heavy-duty walking foot, post-bed, and the multi-layer materials that wear out lighter brands first.

Three out of every four Speedway machines are heavy-duty: walking foot, post-bed, or large-bobbin lockstitch built for upholstery, leather, and the inside of a car seat at 4 PM on a Friday.

The rest are specialty stitches and finishing equipment — overlock and coverstitch for apparel construction, blindstitch for hems, chainstitch for bag closing and denim, fabric cutters and servo motors for retrofit.

The industrial sewing market has a lot of brands that all sound the same. "Innovative," "cutting-edge," "commitment to excellence." We try not to write any of those.

What we do instead: we ship machines that work, we keep parts on the shelf so you're not on a six-week order, and we pick up the phone when something breaks. The brand we'd want to buy from if we ran an upholstery line — that's the one we try to be.
