Heavy Duty

Three out of every four Speedway machines belong here. Built for leather, multi-layer canvas, and the 18-oz upholstery work that wears out lighter brands first.

Post Bed

Vertical column gives you sewing access from below, around, and through 3-D shapes. For shoes, bags, structured leather goods, and anywhere the seam line wraps a corner.

Single Needle

Single-needle drop-feed lockstitch — the standard for apparel construction. Direct drive, automatic backtack, thread trim. Modern variants run 5,000+ SPM with stepper-motor control.

Double Needle

Two needles, two parallel stitch rows in one pass — the backbone of denim production, decorative top-stitching, and anywhere a single seam needs reinforcing.

Overlock

Overlock — also called serger — for seam finishing on knits, woven edges, and apparel where you don't want a raw edge unraveling. Speedway's line covers the standard 3- and 4-thread variants and the safety-stitch combinations that double as construction stitches.

Coverstitch

Coverstitch for hem finishing on knits — t-shirt sleeves, leggings, performance apparel. Two needles forming the top stitch, looper underneath, no raw edge.

Chainstitch

Chainstitch creates a looped underside that's faster, more elastic, and easier to release than lockstitch. Used for bag closing, denim production, and high-volume repetitive seams.

Blindstitch

Blindstitch picks up only a fraction of the front fabric so the stitch is invisible from the right side. Used for trouser hems, drapery, and anywhere finished appearance matters more than visible reinforcement.
