Chainstitch button sewing machine — handles both parallel (=) and cross (×) stitch patterns on 10–28 mm buttons with 2 or 4 holes. Alternative platform to the SW 373 D for shops that need wider button-size range.
Who runs this
Apparel factories on light-to-medium garment construction. Different from the SW 373 D primarily in button size range — the SW-1377D handles up to 28 mm buttons (large coat buttons, workwear front buttons) where the 373 D tops out smaller.
Both machines run the same basic chainstitch button-attachment cycle. Pick based on the button size your spec actually calls for.
Why this over the SW 373 D
- 10–28 mm button range. Wider than the 373 D. Handles standard shirt buttons (10–14 mm) through coat buttons (24–28 mm) on the same machine without re-tooling.
- = and × stitch patterns. Parallel stitch for hidden-seam attachment, cross stitch for visible decorative attachment. Pattern selection per button without operator setup.
- Adjustable stitch parameters. Stitch count and density adjustable per button, supporting different fabric weights and button retention requirements.
Application examples
Coat fronts
24-28 mm front buttons on wool overcoats. The wider button range is what justifies this machine over the SW 373 D for outerwear lines.
Workwear fronts
Heavy twill workwear with reinforced 22-26 mm buttons. Cross stitch pattern + adjustable stitch density for daily-wear durability.
Light apparel
Standard 10-14 mm shirt buttons. Same machine, same operator, just different size — no setup time on size changes mid-run.
What ships with it
Machine assembled with clamp feed system, integrated motor, industrial table, and stand.
