Mechanical digital buttonhole — the alternate variant to the SW 781 D for shops that prefer the mechanical platform with digital sizing.
Who runs this
Garment factories producing shirts, jackets, trousers, and workwear at high volume. Same end use as the SW 781 D; the difference is the mechanical platform under the digital control.
Shops with mechanical-platform standardization (existing parts inventory, operator training) often pick this for parts-bin commonality with their other Speedway machines. Performance is comparable to the 781 D for standard buttonhole production.
Why mechanical-platform digital
- Mechanical platform, digital control. Mechanical underneath = simpler service, more accessible parts. Digital on top = sizing without cam swaps.
- Direct-drive motor. Quiet, low-maintenance, holds torque at slow speeds for buttonhole corners.
- Production-volume reliable. Built for shops doing buttonholes as a discrete operation on every garment in the run.
Application examples
Shirt placket
6-8 buttonholes per shirt at 14mm × 3mm. Identical density and size across the entire run.
Workwear front
Heavy twill workwear with reinforced buttonholes — the bartack ends are critical for resisting daily pull.
Trousers fly
Buttonholes on trouser fly placket and waistband. Production-line cycle: place, sew, lift, advance.
What ships with it
Machine assembled with integrated direct-drive motor, industrial table and stand. Digital control panel.
